STORY

The half-timbered house at Feuergasse 4, classified as a cultural monument, was rebuilt after the devastating city fire of 1789, in which 30% of the city burned down. The house was looked after, cared for and passed on by the ROSER family for many generations. The tax advisor Mr. Werner Roser last lived in the house when he was born and grew up. He ran a tax office in this building for over 40 years. When Mr. Roser had to retire due to illness, the house was empty for a few years. In many personal conversations he told us, the Trapp family, how much he loved his childhood home. Unfortunately, his illness worsened and the retirement he deserved was taken away from him.

The long-standing neighborly and business relationship was very exciting for us, so we decided to dedicate the beautiful, beloved half-timbered house to the kind-hearted Mr. Roser and convert it into an exclusive holiday home. It was quickly decided to give the five holiday suites a theme from his life. The “foundation stone” was laid in 2018 and the house was completely renovated by 2019. Now it has been shining in new splendor since September 2019. The theme templates for the exclusive Holiday apartments are CassiCar (He loved to explore the country and its people with beautiful cars), PortoCino (The expanse, power and air of the sea was his source of energy), Gentleman (He was always a man of the "old school"), Marrakesh (The The smell, the music and culture of the Orient enchanted him), home (he was very connected to his roots, i.e. his homeland).

From 2024, the meeting & event room Bodega (Spanish: cellar) in the vaulted cellar will be available for rent.

We are happy about the numerous holiday guests in the “hausROSER” which are now breathing new life into the beautiful half-timbered house. THANKS.
